If you find out, what it is, let me know. It's one more reason though
to not push the live cd out as we only change the problems. Originally
we wanted to have a new round of live cd to fix known problems and now
we get tons of new problems.
stick from that config for that use case.
Greetings, Stephan

Ok, so I tested the latest livecd with my Dell 700m laptop. The system
booted ok, however it spent ages doing the X11 configuration stuff.
When GNOME finally started up, the screen had a resolution of 1280x800
(screen default) but GNOME only used 1024x768.
This looks very funny :)

You can do your own live CD actually. I would even suggest to do a live USB

Additionally, if at all possible having the libmtp package installed on
the CD would be useful especially when bringing the livecd to a computer
shop to test with various Portable Audio Players
stick from that config for that use case.
