I just had a small problem and was helped on the opensuse list, but
this shows something I may not be the only one to hit.
if this is not the good list, please say so.
I installed 10.3 on a laptop. as so I wanted to keep the dvd as source because I don't have net access always.
but the result is that I setup update, packman, etc. repositories, but not standard one.
the problem is that I found natural to think that the standard repository was equal to the dvd, wich is wrong
prbably things are not enough explained on the wiki (I will get a look there and fix).
The simpler way should be to have a repository for the standard dvd, but I see very well that it's fairly difficult given the boxed dvd's
* are much bigger than the standard dvd
* have things we can't have online
* anyway don't have all, so we would need an addon repository anyway.
may be this could be shown also at install time. I must say i didn't see the "community repository" menu some people like so much?
more on the wiki
thanks reading
