You should have yast2-mcs-plugin package installed if you selected XfceThat's because the YaST people decided to use some KDE- and GNOME-only
pattern. This adds icon to Xfce Settings manager (called Yast2 Control
Center). About 'naked' modules in Other menu: all
/usr/share/applications/YaST2/*desktop files should probably have
"OnlyShowIn=KDE;GNOME;" like /usr/share/applications/YaST.desktop does.
(non-standardised!) extension to the .desktop format to require root
permission instead of using xdg-su. Because YaST is useless without
root permissions, we decided to show it only in KDE and GNOME.
Sorry, this is a little cryptic for me atm..
( there is no doubt however that you exactly know where you are talking
about. ;-)
you can just type 'kdesu yast2' or 'gnomesu yast2'
