What is the reason not to use: ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/10.3/repo/oss/suse/ppc install-initrd-1.0-228.ppc.rpm kernel-default-2.6.22.5-31.ppc.rpm
It seems from the openSUSE article that it doesn't matter which initrd and kernel are used.
Sorry, doesn't work, too. I can boot using BootX and I get a menu to select installation properties, but there is no network and no access to the cd drive and I can't load any modules. So it's not easy to install... -- Machs gut | http://www.iivs.de/schwinde/buerger/tremmel/ | http://packman.links2linux.de/ Manfred | http://www.knightsoft-net.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
