Hey Group; SuSE 10.3 Beta2 I use runlevel 3 just for info. I have recently had a problem with my printer which was found readily by Yast2. The problem is that every time I go to print I needed to run Yast2. I think I have found the problem. In /etc/init.d/rc3.d there is mentioned in the README a S20lpd linked to ../lpd. But there is no ../lpd script. The README mentions "/etc/init,d/lpd start" and "/etc/init,d/lpd stop" but there is no lpd script. lpq sees a print job waiting. lprm will remove so cups seems to be OK -- 73 de Donn Washburn 307 Savoy Street Email: " n5xwb@hal-pc.org " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 Ham Callsign N5XWB HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " VoIP via Gizmo: bmw_87kbike / via Skype: n5xwbg BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador " http://counter.li.org " #279316 Did you know?
