did you file a bugreport? Please do so and tell us exactly who to reproduce it...

My first report of the .profile error in .xsession may be wrong as to the cause. At this point it is a Language problem but may not be as I thought. One OS is under /usr/share/servers and links from /etc/X11/xserver/ but the name n_US seems different.
