Hi,
I just checked on 10.3 alpha5 and can not see that there is any udev configuration for MTP devices in /etc/udev/rules.d libmtp is in, but not the udev config file.
Is this intentional or a bug? It is the same on 10.2
Intentional.

It would be good if these devices also was autodetected as the Creative players are quite good devices.
There is no need for udev modification, we use other methods. This method (hal-resmgr) however only works after Alpha5, so either update with hal-resmgr from Factory or wait for Alpha6.
