Has anyone tried this disk under Linux:

Model Family:     Hitachi Travelstar 5K100 series
Device Model:     HTS541040G9SA00
Serial Number:    MPBBL0X.......

mine is:
Firmware Version: MB2OC60D

and can say whether it worked or didn't? SATA version only!!

It is plain non-functional for me (10.2, 10.3a3). Doesn't work under
Knoppix 4 either. Manufacturer's diagnostics are ok, as is disk under
XP.  #266845
