Hi,
The time it takes for an upgrade to install, is definitely dependable on the present Ram-memory.
What kind of upgrade ? Can you be more specific ?
Well, i mean the updates, sorry, like the ones from yesterday and today.. (talking about 102 retail!)
Whats the size of your rpm database (ls -lh /var/lib/rpm) ? rpm tends to read all its database into memory, apply changes, and write it back out.
