I tried KOTD 2.6.21-rc6-git1-20070408211613-default on a SUSE-10.2 system and noticed that the parallel port driver seems to be broken. It garbles the output. A cat some_asciifile > /dev/lp0 gives unreadable output on my Epson Stylus Color 880. And any other try to print something using cups doesn't work, too. Switching back to 2.6.18.8-0.1-default fixes the problem.
