It loads the profiles on boot.
But: I prefer security over saving a second of boot time ;-)

Just curious: What's the advantage of using auditd compared with logging 
to syslog-ng? (I see only a disadvantage right now: auditd doesn't have 
human-readable timestamps in the log :-/ )
