OK, nice, but I assumed you wanted to get rid of /opt/gnome before doing version upgrades?

Right now at least the following packages are still using it:

NetworkManager-openvpn-gnome
seamonkey
jpilot-Backup
NetworkManager-vpnc-gnome
seamonkey-mail
OpenOffice_org
apparmor-admin_en

Not all of them are GNOME packages, but some of them are, they should be fixed.
