Well, there is no reason to write something again, if something existing can
be improved instead.

Atm, we try to find out, if we can drop one of the implementations, if the
other one has all the features and is reliable enough. And it is better to do
some bugfixes, instead of reinvent it again (and introduce new bugs again).
