Hi, I am trying to update a system with a Pentium II 400 MHz CPU from 10.2rc1 to 10.2. First attempts from inside, using YaST2 - Software - System Update always ended without errors, but just "in between" - just a few packages got installed, and then the window closed. After I had worked down this way from 1200 to 440 packages, I decided to boot from "outside" to finish it without such hassle. So I copied /boot/i386/loader/{initrd,linux} from the 10.2 DVD9 to local, added it as a lilo target and started installation with it. But now I see the same effect: some packets get installed, then I get a popup about "finishing installation" (did it with "ssh install") and then a red window at the local console about error has happened. I realize that the kernel from /boot/i386/loader/ identifies as i686. Should it really be true that 10.2 will not install on CPUs before Pentium III?
