I try to install 10.2 beta2 on a sub laptop.
This laptop can't boot cd's, so I copy the relevant linux and initrd files on my already existing 10.0 install /boot directory and add an entry to grub menu.lst accordingly
then, with the cd1 in the reader, all is good.
but...
my internal screen is 640x480 (virtual 800x600) and Yast insists starting in graphical mode, hiding the answer buttons under the screen (no virtual screen here)
when I break the install, I go back to text mode, but as soon as I access the cd and the yast there is launching it go in graphical mode.
I know there is a text mode option on the cd1 boot, but I have not for I don't boot on the cd :-(
is there an option I could add to the "kernel" or the "initrd" line of menu.lst that allows me to run text mode all the time?
