Terje, as Eberhard said: Our mirrors cannot server both. It's also double the bandwith to sync out from us to them in a short time.
Therefore we only make one set available - and CDs are easier to sync since DVDs are larger than 2 GB which will cause problems for some mirrors. Just with Alpha5 the CDs did not install at all, so we have this time DVDs only instead,

Would it be possible to get the dvdisos as torrents only? Since that wouldn't kill the mirrrors, and keep us "dvds rule" bunch happy.
The problem is that BitTorrent as P2P is not everywhere allowed. There are large companies and universities who do block all P2P traffic. Even some providers do so. So we do need definitive also the classic images. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
