I installed the packege ivman, restarted the system,

and the problem continues.
This confirms that a reboot is a) superfluous and b) useless when using Linux ;-) (OK, kernel updates are an exception.)

I proved to launch ivman (/usr/bin/ivman-launch), and I got after inserting a data dvd: manager.c:1357 (do_startup_configure) Directory /home/jerbes/.ivman/ will be used for configuration files. 18618: arguments to dbus_move_error() were incorrect, assertion "(dest) == NULL || !dbus_error_is_set ((dest))" failed in file dbus-errors.c line 241.
