Did you actually read the bug? The PIII 700 system I installed Factory on has or had:
SUSE 10.1 (had factory, has final, both from FTP)
SUSE 10.2 Factory from FTP
Mandriva 2007 Cooker
SUSE 9.0
Knoppix 4.0.2
Windoz XP
eComStation 1.14
eComStation 2.0b1
Only the first two in the above list have the problem.
2.4G Celeron machine two has or had the following:
SUSE 10.0 from DVD
Mandriva 2006
SUSE 9.0
Knoppix 4.0.2
eComStation 1.13
Only the first in the above list has the problem.
800M Celeron machine three has or had the following:
SUSE 10.0 (had factory, has final, both from FTP)
Knoppix 4.0.2
Windoz XP
eComStation 1.14
Only the first in the above list has the problem.
On several other machines I have no such problem using the following:
Corel 1.1
Debian Etch
Fedora Core 4
Knoppix 3.8.1
Knoppix 4.0.2
Kubuntu 5.10
Kubuntu 6.06
Mandrake 7.1
Mandriva 2005
RedHat 7.3
SUSE 8.1
SUSE 8.2
SUSE 9.2
SUSE 9.3
Xandros 3.02
On all above Linux distros I use KDE DM/Desktop exclusively, except for one machine that is actually Edubuntu 6.06 (which only my niece uses) with KDE added for DM and me to use for system chores.
