in fact there should be somewhere (probably not on the wiki) 
a large table with _all_ the know Linux packages (hudge, but 
freshmeat browse should give a hint :-) with the status of 
these packages relative to openSUSE:

included (openSUSE version, on cd; on dvd, on line a little 
like distrowatch)
not included for a reason (with the reason)
on review (AI XXX)
unknown

the last category could be on a wiki page (unknown - that is 
unknown from the openSUSE packagers)
