When changing scripts from SuSEconfg to cron jobs, please consider that
the
more things will be done by cron jobs, the more users will be frustrated,
if
the CPU/disk is going crazy. So doing the main work immediately after
installing packages is still the best way, I think.
Exactly. Not to mention lots of people dont have their systems running 24x7
