I do not think that there was a mirroring problem. The updates are not
recognized, until I remove the installation source in YaST and then
re-add it. After that (and without any changes to the mirrored directory)
they ARE detected. So I would believe that the contents of the directory
itself are ok but somehow the changes are not detected.
