There is one technical problem: the layouting code of desktop icons is a mess
as it has to cope with tons of dynamic changes. And the device icons are
_always_ misplaced - so you need to look for them and "my computer" is a well
defined place. But as you can enable it on your own liking, feel free to do
it. We won't make it default.
