OK. Great news (and a relief for me)
I have even added some extra files AND a repodata in a second test and no problem there. Also just using CD1 and my own CD works great.

Would be nice. That way I could test and have the script updated if needed. As it sounds now, it should work. It could be that I need to change the part so it makes its own media.1 instead of borrowing it.
Just merging booth suse-trees of the 5 CD set and the add-on CD + recreating the metadata should be everything you need to do to prepare a DVD... in theory ;) Regards Christoph
