If you install the proprietary NVIDIA drivers after you install
the Xgl server, the installation script will remove that file. Run
"rmp -V" on the Xgl package.
It happened to me while testing beta3. Re-install the Xgl server package
and try again.
I couldn't get it to work. I could manage to get the X server to run
but it didn't have the GL extension that compiz requires, "texture"
something.
(and I did follow the instructions accurately.)
