Muchas gracias por sus respuestas Camaleón y Carlos! Aún sigo sin poder
solucionar este problema pero no pierdo las esperanzas jajaja.

Con respecto a lo de xorg hace un tiempo hice eso de "sax2 -a" ya que no
me sentía cómodo sin un archivo xorg.conf, hay cosas que no sé como
configurarlas si tal archivo no existe...

Con respecto al archivo, a dónde lo puedo subir así lo ven? Acá a la
lista como un adjunto???

Las líneas que hay que agregar para lograr que funcione el touchpad ya
las había agregado y actualmente las borré, ya que probé con el método
explicado en la página de OS11.2 que me comentaron antes de editar un
archivo referente a HAL (/etc/hal/fdi/policy/shmconfig.fdi) y agregar
estas líneas:

Esto tampoco funcionó, así que si puedo subir el archivo a algún lado
para que lo ven se los agradecería mucho.

Con respecto a toquetear el xorg.conf busqué bastante y encontré
distintas sugerencias pero ninguna me funcionó :S Aunque seguramente en
algo le estaba errando.
