La temperatura de los discos tampoco me terminan de convencer...

¿Estás seguro que la bios muestra temperaturas bajas? :-?

Aquí lo tienes. Se piensa que ha llegado a una temperatura configurada 
como crítica (121ºC), intenta activar el ventilador (falla) y se apaga.

Bufff. Ahora tenemos que ver por qué cree que ha alcanzado esa 
temperatura y de qué componente estamos hablando (micro, sistema, 
chipset, hay varios sensores...). Supongo que será el micro.

Podrías instalar y configurar lmsensors, para ver qué lecturas te da.

Si se trata de una interpretación errónea, seguramente puedas 
desactivar (o configurar / ajustar) ese "trip point" (punto de 
activación). 

Esto no sé cómo hacerlo, debe estar por /proc/acpi/* pero no te sabría 
decir qué tienes que tocar exactamente, a ver si alguien te lo puede 
indicar >:-?
