Pero antes pasar por bugzilla, deberías hacer algunas pruebas para descartar "culpables". Los sospechosos son:
A) Componentes hardware:
- Grabadora --> ya la has cambiado
La descartamos pues
- Puerto IDE/SATA, el cable... como compruebo el cable, solo de forma visual o hay alguna manera de hacerlo, si sirve de algo la misma imagen grabada en el mismo equipo, desde ruindows, tambien da errores, asi que yo diria que puede ser el cable, pues es lo unico comun aparte de la unidad grabadora que es nueva y no deberia fallar o el equipo entero. Alguna idea. (¿ves algún error de la grabadora en el registro /var/log/warn o /var/log/messages?)

B) Componentes software:

es la de el suse de 64bits bajada de la pagina oficial (en repetidas ocasiones) tambien la de otras distros como Kubuntu, habiendo comprobado antes el md5sums (es decir el archivo era correcto)
- Programa de grabación (k3b, wodim, cdrecord, opciones de configuración...)
Bien he utilizdo el k3b y el brasero, error con los dos.
Por ejemplo, podrías bajar una iso LiveCD (640 MB) desde un servidor ftp (a la antigua usanza) y probar a grabarla. Si te da el mismo error con otro archivo y con otro medio (CD), pues ya resulta sospechoso.
¿Sólo tienes problemas al grabar esa iso en concreto? Es decir, ¿puedes grabar bien (y reproducir) un DVD de datos o un CD de audio?
