prueba modprobe stv680

Y prueba con Xawtv, pasando los parámetros adecuados. Normalmente el 
dispositivo toma video0, pero si tienes una tarjeta de TV, o un escáner 
o una cámara de fotos puede que no encuentre el dispositivo adecuado.

xawtv -device /dev/video0

xawtv -device /dev/video1

...
