Hi
Some people were complaining about the changes in the Education repo
for their openSUSE 11.3 and 11.4 distributions and do not like to
download GB of packages again and again because the OBS triggered a
complete rebuild of the Education repo as some underlying/dependent
packages have changed.
As result, I disabled the build for all repositories exept the
openSUSE_12.1 and openSUSE_Factory repos in the Education project on
build.opensuse.org now.
That means:
* No unexpected changes for users of the other repositories any more.
* Packagers who want to release an updated or new package for those
disabled repos: please enable the build for this specific package and
repo instead.
Maybe we can make use of the new maintenance feature that is currently
implemented into the OBS to provide a "update" repo for each
distribution like we do on our server in the past. Let's see....
I hope to disable the built in the openSUSE 12.1 repo soon - but let's
look over the currently failing 49 packages (~270 succeed!) first.
With kind regards - and Merry Christmas!
Lars
