Oh please finish it. I doubt anyone could finish it any sooner by the time they figured out what you had done. Thank you for working on such a nice project! I certainly appreciated the efforts as one of the end users :) Doug Glenn FORUM Information Systems, LLC http://foruminfosystems.com On Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 4:10 PM, Jeff Shantz<jeff.shantz@gmail.com> wrote:

today I got e-mail from Jeff where he told me he is going to resign from GSoC, I wrote a short blogpost about it[1], so if you would like to know more, feel free to read it.
This is a shame, but at least Jeff was kind enough to let us know his intentions. A lot of GSoC students just disappear. Things happen, though, and from this perspective it looked like he was doing well up till now.

Hi folks,
To clarify the situation, due to some financial issues, I was forced to take up a full time job at the beginning of July. I was hoping to be able to do both, but it became too much and I was getting extremely burnt out.
I am interested in finishing the Education module if people still want me to, but unfortunately it will not be as part of the Summer of Code. I am thinking that with the spare time I have available, I should be able to get it done by mid-September. If you folks want me to continue with it, please let me know. Otherwise, I can turn the project over to someone else.
My apologies for dropping out -- I was hoping to have this finished, but as I mentioned, with a full-time job it became a mite too much on my plate this summer.
Regards, Jeff Shantz
