I am not sure you installed the system using live Li-f-e DVD, it does
not need an Add-on. Here are the installation instructions for that:

Greetings,
I just finished loading my new replacement server with the latest
build. The following are "issues" if you want to regard them as such,
that I think still need to be addressed. I didn't see them documented,
but I know this is not a 'final' also.
1. Suse Education Add-On repository is missing. The Update
repository is ok. The base EDU patterns are missing from Yasts
Software Management even though it appears to be install. It isn't
functional :)
Li-f-e DVD contains selection of edu packages already, there is no
pattern selection required.
2. After correcting this, and the Education Patterns installed, the
Kids Desktop Software and Youth Education Software Patterns were
selected, but none of the others.
3. I had to select LTSP Server Apps (TFTP installed, but not
configurable and Xinetd service disabled which made it non-functional)
4. Prior to selecting the Add on, DNS and DHCP installed, but none of
the configuration tools installed. These became selected after I
selected the remaining options.
LTSP server with all the services it requires is already installed, no
additional pattern/software needs to be installed. All that remains to
be done is run easy-ltsp > Kiwi > Prebuilt Image. Everything is

All in all, great job! The Live DVD works great. The installation
portion still has some things missing, but I couldn't locate the
bugzilla or build docs to figure what might have been left out or
remaining. Hence this additional information. Forgive me if this is
already known :) I'm not complaining (honest!)
All feedback is greatly appreciated :)

I am documenting the current installation and configuration details as
they are being done here:
http://wiki.freelinuxpc.org/index.php?title=Sterling_Community_Center
This is somewhat buried in the site, and I am interested in any and
all feedback regarding it. Once I finish this documentation, it is
going to have to undergo a serious 'dumbing down' in order to meet the
goal of a non-technical person being able to follow the directions to
build a 'Community Technological Center'.
With regard to the http://www.linux-for-education.org/ site, I am
still working on uploads, but got sick for a few days, then had to
spend a few more days playing catchup with my schoolwork, and now my
summer 'break' is on, finishing the buildup of a new server and 4 more
terminals for the Sterling Community Center where I am the system
admin (non-paid volunteer like this :)) So don't give up on me there.
I should be back and finish uploading the Study Skills and Technology
sections from the source site with in the week. Just a matter of
getting this system online and doing three term papers over the next
week :) Oh, and keeping my wife happy :) That is number 1.
