i have no idea where you can find documentation, any way i can report my
experience..


add you openSUSE into the domain is really easy, you can do it following
that instructions:

yast --> network services --> windows domain membership.


type you domain name (in my case is "qsilocal.org"), then selec "allow
smb to log Linux" and "create home directory on login")

then click on end.. type username and password of an user with
administrator rights and that's it! you pc is into the domain..


on all that i found only one problem..

after reboot you may need to manually restart winbind service, but i
think to be easy to workaround with a script or something like that.

i currently have 3 openSUSE pc into my Windows SBS 2003 with other 26
windows Xp SP3 pcs... all look to works fine
