Basically we are hopeing to use dosbox to run an IDE for 68000
assembly programming. The kit we got is fantastic, and there's 10+
years of teaching material for it.
It's one of the "must do" on the list, as it's a core module in the course.

Depending on your needs - you can use the printer settings to configure
your serial port for example:
PRINTER_0_DEVICE = /dev/ttyS0
PRINTER_0_TYPE = S # Serial
PRINTER_0_SPEED = 9600
PRINTER_0_FLOWCTRL = H # Hardware
PRINTER_0_PARITY = E # Even
PRINTER_0_DATABITS = 7
I think this should give you a good overview about the possible
settings.
