Andreas,
Please don't be discouraged by the lack of response to your last e-mail.
It is a very busy time for Lars and since he is our inside leader, the
decision regarding opportunities like the one you propose are brought by
him to the opensuse management team and then Novell and it's lawyers if
need be. He always answers but it takes time. 
just a run down of what I know Lars does;
1) New Dad
2) iso manager \pattern maintainer for opensuse
3) maintains several key repositories including the two for our project
4) interacts with a multitude of very demanding projects
