We run a number of schools systems on SUSE/LTSP. The largest we have at
the moment is around 180 thin client desktops and all the support
services (Moodle, Elgg, mail, etc)
We are also working with a number of schools to look at recycling old
machines using LTSP but to a Windows TS desktop. This fits nicely with
our use of Sun Ray ultra thin client technology.
Sun Ray is certified to run on SLES and works well.
