Thanks Richard! I was "between demos", so I'm delighted that you've set one up. It was on my list of things to do, honest :) - in fact [...several hours later...] I've gone ahead and put my own demo up with the latest code (note to me: must do another release) and admin and user logins. The data resets every day. I've used the account a pupil gave me on his co-located server!!! The URL is the rather ungainly: http://neon.rossmc.co.uk/~jonesieboy/freemis Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. In order to appreciate the flexibility of FreeMIS, you'll need to be logged in as admin. The pupils look a little wierd don't they! I simply mashed up the names of the pupils at my school. If anyone knows how I can easily replace the garbage with a list of 900 fictitious pupil names please let me know. If anyone's on a Mac, I know that the drop-downs won't work properly on Richard's demo site (0.85 release). I switched to a new menu system (Tigra) and it seems to work on just about everything. Please let me know if there are any problems on my demo site. Cheers, Robert On Friday 13 May 2005 23:11, richard@tortoise.demon.co.uk wrote:

FreeMIS - the free web-based MIS for schools - has made it's second public release, which greatly improves the functionality of the reporting module, and provides a full set of dummy data to play with. If you are looking for an open source alternative then download FreeMIS here

Hi Robert,
I've just installed freemis to play with. If anyone else want to try:

Apologies if you already have a live demo somewhere, I couldn't see one.
