Sorry for those who've already seen this, but if you're interested in
seeing OpenOffice have a database that will be an easy replacement for
MS Access, then your help is needed:

If you haven't already had a look, download the latest build of v2
prerelease:

http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html and have a look at the DB
part.
