As a slight aside to the main thrust of this thread, how do people set up
OpenOffice across a whole school? Ie, do they install locally, or
centrally, and if locally, how do they deal with the shared folders and
database links. I have tried various approaches with both StarOffice and
OpenOffice, including a net install on each workstation and a workstation
install to each user's area, as well as fully local and cetral; all have
their pros and cons. Is there an generally accepted method which minimises
maintenance but allows each user their own and centrally shared resources.
