I think that improved ease of use and reliability are important features - certainly those were the main areas of complaint from the users. There is clearly a need to retain the existing features and to be able to transfer the data rapidly, easily and exactly.

There is also a need for the system.network administrator to be able to influence the decision to change based on reduced TCO, including reliable support.

HOWEVER - marketing is important, too. For that I think there is a need for a trade-stand sponsor at BETT and so on to show all aspects of Open Source ownership, LTSP, Star Office/OO.org, hybrid environments etc.
