Try running 'squid -f <path-to-config>'. You could also try using the -d switch to give yourself some debugging info. Type squid --help for the full list of options, All the best, Nial. At 09:42 08/10/2002 +0100, you wrote:
I have newly set up Squid on a SuSE 8 box, and have changed a few sections in the squid.conf, however when I run Squid it runs with the defaults set, and not the options I have set in the squid.conf file.
Have I set up the squid.conf wrongly? I have uncommented out the line I need and then modified it, eg.
HTTP_PORT: 8002
Is this correct? It looks fine in all the examples Ive found on the web, but Im still tearing my hair out
