What range of salaries / support fees are schools willing to pay for good IT
technicians / support people?

Also, does anyone know of any schools who have turned support into a revenue
generating venture to help attract / maintain good support people? For
example, a secondary school with a strong support department also provides
support to its local feeder primary schools for a fee, or to other secondary
schools.
