-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I have (hopefully) persuaded one of the IT technicians at my school to have a demontration of Linux. My plan is to demonstrate SuSE 7.3 LiveEval, and hopefully have it connecting to the RM Connect 1 network, grabbing an IP via dhcp, and hopefully connecting the the internet. Has anybody tried the LiveEval on a RM Network? During "installation" there's an option to set up the ethernet card -- presumably all I need to do is tell it to use dhcp, set the default gateway (to the IP of the proxy server), and everything will magically work? Is SMB likely to work, so I'll be able to access "MyWork" without any problems after authenticating? - -- Cheers, Chris Howells -- chris@chrishowells.co.uk, howells@kde.org Web: http://chrishowells.co.uk, PGP key: http://chrishowells.co.uk/pgp.txt KDE: http://www.koffice.org, http://edu.kde.org, http://usability.kde.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8dolnF8Iu1zN5WiwRAnprAJ9VIqrb9tBjgJy71oQ5HF4gfXe/PACglI0J o9KZx1D/CA7IMQBZmmkSmiA= =D+Ee -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
