HP1200N is the only one near the budget - should be able to acquire one for less than £300. Most recent kernels should support printing to them no problem. -----Original Message----- From: Mark Evans To: Gary Stainburn Cc: suse-linux-uk-schools@suse.com; Dan Kolb Sent: 1/8/02 10:04 AM Subject: Re: [suse-linux-uk-schools] Laser printer the
HP1200 yet.
We use HP4050s, but they are rather more than the budget the original poster came up with.
I started with HP's running HP4's of RH5.2 systems.
Also, HP tend to be good solid printers, but if you're going to give it much welly, make sure you buy a big un - HP2100, as opposed to the HP1100 which is designed more for personal use.
Also they can't take that much paper at once... -- Mark Evans St. Peter's CofE High School Phone: +44 1392 204764 X109 Fax: +44 1392 204763 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: suse-linux-uk-schools-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands, e-mail: suse-linux-uk-schools-help@suse.com
