# rcsmb start I think the rationale is that all similar commands now start with rc e.g. rclpd start etc. On Tue, 3 Apr 2001, ptaylor wrote:
I am using 7.1 now and the commands for starting and stopping seem to have changed? I used to be able to do: #/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start and it would re-load. Now I get an error message.
Any help?
