For what it's worth, I have been using osie.org.uk for all the publicity I have sent so far
... but I would say the same for www.ose.org.uk - I have been spreading the word about this via my users group and email lists/etc since Malcolm Herbert started it 18 months/2 years or so ago :-) Also, of course - if you had told us of your plans for www.osie.org.uk in a post to the schools list, uk.education.schools-it, Malcolms opensource mailing list, Richards schools-lnx mailing list or the seul/edu mailing lists (or wherever else people involved in Linux and education are hanging out ... I am on most of them) then I am sure many of us would have told you about www.ose.org.uk in the first place. This is sort of what I was hinting at, at the meeting - when it comes to specifying what we would like on the site - the key thing (IMO) is to see what currently exists, and why it is not working for us. Then we can (hopefully) fill the gap and do something better ... there is no point in reinventing the wheel, and just falling into the same traps that many of the other open source and education sites appear to be falling into .. and I agree with you that ose must not just be a links site :-) BTW - had a dig around your resources section on your site ... nice. Kevin.
