You mean running the DOS utility, configuring the card to disable Plug'n'Play and manually setting the port and IRQ? If so, port 0x300 and IRQ 10 are 'standard' values to go for (default). The Linux module should then be able to find the card. In the BIOS itself, all you probably need to do then is go to Plug'n'Play configuration, set PNP OS = no, and set IRQ 10 (if that's what you assigned to the card) to Legacy ISA rather than PCI/ISA PnP.
