Ok The day finally arrived... I've taken advice (mostly from this list) on PCs, network cards etc. I've bought a "server" installed ISDN and Network cards I changed the BIOS to boot first from CD-Rom I put the first SuSE 6.4 disc in.... Great, a perfect install, auto recog of all peripherals I felt nosey so I did an "almost everything" install Boots up fine to KDE. Had a nose around, read the manuals (SuSE and Intranet Black Book) Can't get it to talk to the internet or my one connected PC. Tried setting up using YAST2 and Yast. Think I might be getting IP addresses, Nameservers, remote gateways confused...? Do I choose static for the server and then start DCHP later for the clients?? Any quick help out there??? Please?
