Hi All:

I think I have asked this before but if I have it has disappeared into my
extensive backlog of files to organise.
I am using Squid as a proxy server for my school network with Dialnet as the
parent cache. The kids are directed through our intranet which is currently
on an NT machine (job to do) and they go out through the proxy to the outside
world. However, on the intranet page I have a link to the web mail provided
by dialnet so that when the link is activated it goes out through a url to the
web mail (for staff and students). I was having problems trying to get the
intranet to work initially as it times out. I beleive the way I had it, it
would go out through the internet to find the home school's page, come back
and look about but time out in the meantime. I have now added an acl to find
the local machine so that the intranet page pops straight up, but now the web
mail doesn't work, when you click on the link it opens the main page again.
Any suggestions (thin evidence accepted). I will attach the squid.conf if
this helps.
Paul
Ps I will not be too offended if you rip my config file apart!
