I am paranoid now. Should I disable the "allow all" in the config file? I will read up on acls this week but I want to have a working proxy for the beginning of school which seems to be the case with a basic squid.conf.
I cant see too much of a prob with leaving this, but its much nicer to do sommit like this acl localnet src 192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0 http_access allow localnet http_access deny all while changin 192.168.0.0 to your local network ip. o, and remeber to restart squid (squid -k reconfigure) after making changes to squid.conf :) hth.
