Hello I am an IT Tech at a school which has just gone over to Macs from acorns. I am also a member of the UKUUG ( United Kingdom Unix User Group). My task is to oversee the setting up of a "Schools Focus" group. The idea is to get schools to adopt Open Source software. The advantage to schools is probably obvious to you all. For UKP 30 you save the cost of NT and the license fees and have good stable servers. I am tasked with designing a web page to be added to the UKUUGs web site. See www.ukuug.org . Web page design is not my forte but I have played with unix/linux for a while. This is to act as a place for links to useful or interesting sites. It should be polished and put in place by our webmaster in a week or two.
